Chekhov plays in Ireland

I came across this article on the web written by a professor of “English and Celtic Studies” in California that discusses the staging of Checkhov plays in Ireland. Since it was something Sarah asked us to bare in mind I thought I’d share it. I don’t know how accurate or useful it is but I thought it was interesting as it looks at Chekhov in relation to Irish culture and Irish identity.
