In response to Tess’ recent comment on a previous post, I dug up this New York Times article, about the Russian TV show “Schastlivye Vmeste” [Happy Together] that’s based almost entirely on the US sitcom “Married… With Children.” It’s a pretty amusing example of how one cultural product can be imported to another context:
