Crime and Punishment – And Match Point?

Hi Everyone. I just wanted to open a thread where we can discuss Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment and Woody Allen’s Match Point.

So, is it a rewriting of the book? A revision of the main themes? A terrible failure? I’d like to know.
